Matt Matteson will be the new Hamilton County Treasurer. In unofficial returns, Matteson (Republican) received 3,358 votes. Democrat Ann J. McLaughlin received 1,934 votes and Independent candidate Michael Myers received 375 votes this Tuesday evening. Matteson will take over for retiring Hamilton County Treasurer Judy Warwick. He will be sworn in late December or on Tuesday,January 3,2023. The other elected officials from Hamilton County including second district supervisor Rick Young, recorder Kim Anderson and county attorney Patrick Chambers.
