Webster City boys soccer look to even record against Humboldt

The Webster City Lynx boys soccer team will look to even their record back to .500 on Monday night, when they host the Humboldt Wildcats in their North Central Conference opener. Humboldt enters 1-0 with an 8-0 win over Belmond-Klemme.

Webster City is looking to build off of an 11-9 season a year ago, that featured a very young squad for the Lynx. Sophomore Eduardo Perez was the co-leader in points a season ago with 32. His co-leader in Martin Kasonga has since graduated. The Lynx are also looking to replace senior goalie Gage Rossing, who had a save percentage of nearly 81% in 2021.

The Lynx and the Wildcats get underway at 5 PM at Webster City High School.
