The Webster City Lynx to the trip west on Highway 20 on Tuesday night to take on the Titans of South Central Calhoun in Rockwell City. The SCC girls came in at 4-0 and ranked #11 in Class 2A, while the boys entered with a 2-0 record.
The Webster City girls, still in search of their 1st win on the season, were unable to get it against a vaunted South Central Calhoun squad, falling by a final score of 54-22. The Webster City boys were looking to move to 2-0 on the season, but fell to a solid boys Titans squad, by a final of 67-49.
Next action for the Webster City basketball teams will be on Friday night, when they host Clarion-Goldfield-Dows at Webster City High School.
