Webster City school board on Monday to welcome two newly elected members.

Two new board members will be sworn in this Monday evening at the next Webster City Community School Board meeting at their office at 820 Des Moines Street.The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. Dave Stoakes and Kelsey Clarken won their seats in the school board election on November 2. They will succeed retiring board members Rich Stroner and Linda Williams. Eric Patterson will also be sworn in to another term on the Webster City school board. The board will also take action on the Lynx Hall of Fame selection process and teacher sub pay plans. The board will appoint Kathy Biere as the board secretary. There will also be the election of a board president and vice president.
The Webster City school board will hear from the school budget review committee request for increased enrollment and for modified allowable growth for LEP instruction beyond five years. Special education contracts for student services with the Dubuque Community School District will reviewed for approval. A $500 donation on behalf of Carl Day and family and a $400 donation to Sunset Heights Elementary school will be accepted. The resignation from assistant varsity baseball coach Jordan Moen will be considered. A report by superintendent Dr. Mandy Ross and from the board will also be on Monday evening’s agenda.
