The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released it’s postseason volleyball pairings for all 5 classes on Thursday evening, showing the KQ area opponents their opponents and regional brackets.
Webster City will compete in Class 4A Region 6, and will host Waterloo East on October 19th at 7 PM. The winner will face the Go-Hawks of Waverly-Shell Rock on October 21st in Waverly. The opposite side of the region includes a 1st-round game between Spencer and Storm Lake, with the winner facing Humboldt.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows will play in Class 3A Region 3, and will host Hampton-Dumont-CAL on October 19th. The winner will face the winner of Southeast Valley and Iowa Falls-Alden. The opposite side of the bracket includes matchups of Unity Christiand against Pocahontas Area, and Greene County against OABCIG.
South Hamilton will compete in Class 2A, Region 3 and will host Woodward-Granger on October 20th. The winner will face the winner of South Hardin against the winner of Madrid and Ogden. The opposite side of the bracket has a 1st round matchup of Panorama vs. IKM-Manning, the winner faces Southwest Valley. AC/GC hosts Nodaway Valley in the bottom half of the quadrant.
Eagle Grove will compete in Class 2A, Region 5 and will travel to Belmond-Klemme for their 1st-round game on October 19th. The winner will face the Denver Cyclones in Denver. Aplington-Parkersburg will face Hudson in the other game of the region. The bottom half of the quadrant pits Carroll Kuemper against the winner of Emmetsburg and North Union, and South Central Calhoun against Manson-Northwest Webster.
