Clarion-Goldfield-Dows continued their winning ways in the North Central Conference, picking up conference win #4 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Thursday night.
The Cowgirls started off the night with a dominating 1st set, leading as much as 20-8, before taking the set by a score of 25-11. The Bulldogs would battle back as they kept neck-and-neck with the Cowgirls in the final 2 sets, but untimely miscues doomed Hampton-Dumont-CAL, as they fell by scores of 25-19 and 25-21.
Lexie Lane lead the offensive charge once again, as she finished with 14 kills, while 3 other Cowgirls had 4 kills. Sophomore Sydney Frisesleben had 18 assists on the night, while junior MacKenna Hasty had a phenomenal night serving, as she finished with 10 aces.
