The Eagle Grove girls cross country team made the trek north to Manly on Thursday night to compete in the Central Springs Invitational at Pioneer Town and Country Club. The Eagles did not compete as a complete team on Thursday night.
Eagle Grove’s lone-placer was junior Maddie Axtell, who finished 13th in a time of 22:36. Next action for the Eagle Grove cross country teams will be on Monday as they will participate in the Algona Invitational, with fellow area teams Webster City and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows
