A house fire in Eagle Grove on Saturday evening sent members of the fire department into action. The call was received at approximately 6:25 in the evening to 411 N.E. Third Street. When fire fighters arrived, flames were coming out of the roof. There were no occupants in the home thus no injuries reported. Eagle Grove Police did save 5 cats prior to the arrival of the fire department.The cause of Saturday’s fire remains under investigation by the Eagle Grove Fire Department.
