The Wright County Board of Supervisors on Monday approved an agreement for a project on Highway 69 south of Belmond. The work would include replacing a bridge five miles south of Belmond near the intersection of Highways 3 and 69. The bridge would be realigned at 160th Street with the street to be moved 200 feet north of the existing location. Work would begin sometime this summer.In Eagle Grove, the supervisors approved replacing a culvert on Highway 17 and adding an existing culvert to install an area of eight feet of pipe.A bridge embargo on a road north of Rowan was approved by the supervisors.
A fireworks permit was approved for Mark Loats of Belmond.
The date of April 29th was set for a public hearing on amending the county budget for the 2013 fiscal year in the amount of $7,000 in expenses.
The Wright County Supervisors accepted the bid from Sadler Construction of Eagle Grove in the amount of $29,741 for the indoor renovation of the former First Citizens Bank building in Clarion. The work on this project is expected to be completed by June 3.
