Wind Chill Advisory in effect until 12 noon Friday!

This has been one week of weather extremes in the KQWC listening area. Ice, fog, snow and now bitter cold for today and tomorrow morning. The entire listening area is under a WIND CHILL ADVISORY until 12 noon Friday. The highs this day are expected to reach around zero with a wind chill of 10 to 15 below zero. Tonight's low will be from 10 to 15 below zero with a wind chill hovering around 20 to 30 below zero due to the strong winds out of the northwest. By Friday we can expect a high of 15 to 20 degrees with a 40 percent chance of light snow during the day.
