Webster City Police releases its 2012 statistics.

 Webster City Police Chief Brian Hughes on Monday released the numbers of calls for service and other statistics for 2012. Last year the local department received up to 18,169 calls for service, 19,816 telephone calls processed, 823 incident reports filed, a total of 471 offenses,365 people arrested during 2012, 421 911 telephone calls, and a total of 165 traffic accidents. Webster City Police issued 248 traffic citations, 217 parking tickets and 176 vehicles being unlocked by police officers.
