Webster City motorist escapes injury in a one car crash near Stratford

 A Webster City motorist escaped injury in a one car accident  Sunday evening two and a half miles northwest of Stratford in the 3300 block of Shiloh Road. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department reported a northbound 1993 Ford Tempo driven by Courtney Clum  lost control of the car on the gravel road and entered the east ditch rolling once and came to rest on the driver's side. The car then erupted into flames after the crash.The Clum auto was declared a total loss.Investigating deputy Gary Johnson charged Courtney Clum with failure to maintain control.
