Webster City firemen were dispatched to a report a tree fire at the Tim Hodges residence at 418 East Dubuque Street shortly after 7:00 Sunday evening. When firemen arrived on the scene, smoke and flames were coming out of a hole of a tree trunk. It took firemen a half hour to extinguish the flames. No further damage was reported to the property. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
