Webster City City Council will meet this Monday evening.

 The Webster City City Council will meet this Monday evening at 7:00 in the council chambers. The council will hear a presentation by Jeff Peters of Williams and Company on the 2011-12 city audit,consider a request from the Border Brigade Archery Club, and make a motion on a request from Debbie and Lynn Jaycox for an extension on their contract with the city of Webster City for a building on lot 3 in the Wall Creek First Addition. The council will also consider a resolution supporting the implementation of the 2012-14 Iowa Great Places grant, In other matters, there will be the first reading on a proposed ordinance pertaining to signs in Webster City followed by the third reading on establishing new rates to be charged for electrical energy sold by the city of Webster City. The adoption of a Community Wide Entrepreneurial Development Plan will be presented to the council for discussion. There will also be a closed session of the Webster City City Council to discuss information relevant to the provision of electric service by the City Utility. Monday's council meeting will be televised on cable channel 12 at 7:00 with repeat telecasts on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m  Prior to the council meeting, there will be a meeting at 6:55 p.m. of the Webster City Fair Housing Board.
