Webster City City Council to meet Monday night.

 The first meeting of 2013 for the Webster City City Council will be this Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the city hall council chambers. The council will appoint a city clerk, deputy city clerk, city attorney, city treasurer and representatives to serve on the North Iowa Municipal Electric Cooperative Association, Mid Iowa Regional Housing Authority Commissioner,Greenbelt Advisory Commission, Hamilton County E-911 Communications Board, County Communication Service Board, Hamilton County Resource Enhancement Committee, Hamilton County Civil Defense/Disaster Board and to the MIDAS Transportation Advisory Committee.The Webster City City Council will receive a quarterly report from Webster City Area Development Chamber Executive Director Carrie Fitzgerald, consider the recommendations from the Hotel Motel Tax Board and consider the request from Rebecca Mines on the sump pump late fee on her utility bill. In other matters, the council will consider a resolution approving consent for Mid American Energy to proceed with actions to allow an interconnect with the Webster Station by Mid American Energy, make a motion on a request from the Webster City Line Department to purchase materials for the Woolstock Rebuild Line Project and have the second reading on a proposed ordinance on establishing new rates to be charged for electrical energy to be sold by the city of Webster City.
