Webster City City Council to meet Monday evening at its new time.

 The Webster City City Council will meet Monday at its new meeting time of 5:15 p.m. at city hall. On the agenda the council will have the second reading of an ordinance on utility disconnection and building debris removal.There will also be the consideration of a request from the Line Department to purchase a new Battery Bank for the Passwaters Substation. A public hearing is scheduled for 5:30 for entering into a fifth amendment to the agreement for the Unit 4 George Neal Generating Station, Mid American Energy and the City of Webster City. Three public hearings will be set Monday afternoon for the February 17 council meeting. The public hearing for the 2014-15 Capital Improvement Budget and the 2014-15 through 2018-19 Capital Improvement Plan will be set at 5:30 p.m.The hearing for the proposed 2014-15 city budget is set for 5:35 p.m. The third hearing on February 17 is for the interest in property by releasing a portion of an easement of land in the city. There will be a closed session to discuss information relevant to the provision of electric service by the Webster City utility pertaining to confidential and competitive information in records.
