The next Webster City City Council meeting will be this Monday evening at 7:00p.m. in the council chambers. The agenda will include the third and final reading on the proposed ordinance on establishing new electric rates.There will be a request from Delores Boldon on the sump pump late fee on her utility bill. A resolution accepting and approving the Minor Subdivision Plat of Lehman's Addition in Hamilton County.Other resolutions include entering into an agreement with Central Iowa RSVP North to rent space in the Webster City Community and Senior Center,awarding the contract for furnishing a Motor Control Center, Variable Frequency Drive and Radio Telemetry Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition controls for the Jordan Well House Number 8 and a resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a notice to proceed to Electrolux Major Appliance for the abandonment of property located at 400 Des Moines Street.
In other matters, the Webster City City Council will make a motion on a tree grinding contract for the Tree/Brush drop off site, consider a request for a Fence Enclosure Project at the Line Department and consider a purchase of a new I-Record Interview room recording system for the Webster City Police Department.
Two public hearings will be on Monday's council agenda. At 7:15, there will be a public hearing on the submittal of a Community Development Block Grant Application for Housing Rehabilitation. The second hearing at 7:20 p.m. will be on the proposed amending of ordinances as it relates to definitions,allowable uses, and new requirements for certain uses necessitating a development agreement.
Following the council meeting, the council will meet in a closed session to evaluate the performance of the City Manager.
