Webster City City Council conducts a goal setting session for 2013 Tuesday night.

The Webster City City Council Tuesday night held a three hour goal setting session with Jeff Schott of the Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. The purpose of the session was to work on issues in the Webster City community for 2013. They include economic development programs,working with the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors on issues of importance between the city and the county,infrastructure projects,identifying housing opportunities in the communities, developing a street lighting plan, sidewalk construction projects and on a succession plan for city employees who will be retiring in the next few years. Schott will be writing a report to Webster City City Manager Ed Sadler on what was covered Tuesday night. The council will take action on the report at a future meeting.
