Two Georgia men apprehended in Fort Dodge Tuesday.

Fort Dodge Police with the assistance of the Webster County Sheriff's Department and the United States Marshals Service apprehended two men wanted for escape by Georgia authorities on Tuesday. The two men were identified as 24 year old Matthew S. Findley and 26 year old Jeffery R. Webb both of Swainsboro,Georgia. The pair were wanted by authorities after escaping from the Emanuel County Jail in Swainsboro, Georgia on November 11th.Officers were called to 666 Riverside Street Northwest at around 1:00 Tuesday afternoon in an attempt to locate both subjects. Officers observed Findley look out a front door window and made entry into the residence. Both men were located and apprehended without incident. Findley was originally charged with Murder and Webb for Burglary. The two will face extradition hearings in Fort Dodge. It was reported that both men were among six prisoners that had escaped from the Georgia jail after a plumber at the jail left the door unlocked. The other four inmates were caught a few days later.
