Two car accident investigated south of Fort Dodge Monday afternoon by the Iowa State Patrol.

The Iowa State Patrol investigated a two car accident at Highway 20 and Webster County Road P-59 at mid afternoon on Monday. Reportedly a 1998 Mercury Sable operated by Daniella Wille of Otho was stopped at the top of the exit ramp to Highway 20 when she pulled out in front of a northbound 2002 Buick Century driven by April Wood of Fort Dodge. Wood braked her car hard before the crash and turned left but struck the driver's side door. Both Wille and Wood were transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge for treatment of their injuries. Damage to the Wille car was estimated at $4000 with the damage to the Wood car estimated at $4000. Investigating trooper Kyle Kluender cited Daniella Wille with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign and Yielding the Right of Way.
