Truck train accident near Duncombe investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.

 The Iowa State Patrol investigated an accident involving a train and a pickup truck west of Duncombe on Monday morning. Reportedly a pickup operated by 17 year old Hannah Gronbach of Duncombe was approaching the train tracks at 220th Street and Samson Avenue when she failed to stop for the westbound train. The train was carrying 173 cars loaded with coal as it was traveling 40 miles per hour. Gronbach and a passenger Anthony McFarland were transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The Webster County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.
