Think Inside the Box at Iowa Central Community College.

A group of Iowa Central Community College students will be spending the night sleeping out of doors as a part of the second annual "Think Inside the Box" project. The students will be starting the project at 3:00 p.m. on Friday,October 26 with the project to be finished at 5:30 the next morning. The project is being done to raise awareness,money and supplies for the Beacon of Hope located in Fort Dodge. All donations will be given to the Beacon of Hope Shelter to assist with their many needs. The Beacon of Hope Shelter is a shelter for men in Fort Dodge and the surrounding area. They do not accept any government funds and run completely on donations. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. The donations can be dropped off at Iowa Central Community College on Friday, October 26 from 3:00 p.m.until 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 27 and given directly to the group and or the director of the Beacon of Hope. This project will consist of classes raising awareness, supplies and donations by spending the evening outside for 14 and a half hours. Last year's "Think Inside the Box" featured 70 students participating. This year it is hoped 150 students will participate.
