Snow and wind a possibility for Thursday in north central Iowa.

North central Iowans should continue to monitor the weather for later in the  week as the potential exists for a dangerous winter storm beginning late Wednesday night into Friday. Snowfall totals at this time are uncertain but there is the likelyhood of 6 to 12 inches of snow in northeast Iowa. Another big concern will be strong northwesterly winds that will be causing the blowing and drifting of snow.Keep tuned to KQWC radio in the next few days on the winter weather for later in the week.
