Six people received minor injuries after an automobile accident that happened Monday afternoon in Humboldt County. The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office reported Javier Cruz of Storm Lake was traveling westbound in a 2001 Toyota Camry in the 1400 block of 205th Street. After navigating a slight curve in the road, Cruz lost control on the gravel and entered the north ditch. The Cruz car rolled before eventually coming to rest on its wheels.Cruz and five passengers all received minor injuries but refused medical treatment. The passengers are Dominic Levongkom of Webster City, Mendoza Manriquez of Storm Lake, Ipsain Jimenez-Barajas of Storm Lake, Katheryn Chavez of Lakeside and Tiffany Baker of Storm Lake.Cruz was cited with failure to maintain control. The Toyota Camry was totaled as a result.
