Renovation at three Webster City schools nearing completion.

Joel Peterson of Peterson Construction in Webster City addressed the Webster City Community School Board Monday evening during a stop at Sunset Heights Elementary School in regards to the work this summer by Peterson employees in renovations to three school buildings. The work involves Pleasant View, Sunset Heights, and Webster City High School buildings. Work crews are busy putting the finishing touches at all three buildings in time for next Tuesday's opening day of classes. During the summer Peterson Construction employees have been busy with the installing of new lighting, ceilings,entrances to make them A.D.A. (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant,new restroom fixtures,safe surface playground, floor tile, lockers and more. An open house at all three school buildings will be held sometime in the fall for the public to come tour the finished project.
