PLEASANT VIEW AND SUNSET HEIGHTS NO LONGER ON LOCKDOWN

Webster City Police Superintendent Mike Sherwood announced that the lockdown at both Pleasant View and Sunset Heights was lifted shortly before 12 noon today. The lockdown was ordered at about 10:25 this morning after a reported child custody dispute. Webster City Police and school staff members safely secured both buildings. There was no threat to the students. The lockdown was cancelled just before noon.
