Northeast Hamilton School Board formally accepts Hocking's resignation.

 The Northeast Hamilton Community School Board Tuesday evening formally accepted the resignation of Pat Hocking as principal and superintendent. Hocking will be the new superintendent of the Lisbon school district beginning July 1. Hocking has been employed at Northeast Hamilton since 1994 as its principal in grades K through 12. The board will begin advertising for the superintendent's position followed by selecting the prospective candidates and the interviews that will be taking place. It is hoped a new superintendent will be in place by this July. The board also accepted the resignation of business manager Susie Fiscus. Fiscus will join her husband as he is relocating to Connecticut for a new job. The resignation will take effect at the end of the current school year.
