North Carolina motorist facing charges after an accident near Williams on Monday.

The Iowa State Patrol investigated a one car accident at the junctions of Interstate 35 and Highway 20 near Williams late Monday afternoon. Reportedly a northbound 2012 Chevrolet Impala operated by  Donald A. Dunn of Wilmington,North Carolina was entering the Highway 20 westbound exit when he saw an animal on the roadway. Dunn swerved his car to miss the animal and rolled his vehicle. The driver escaped injury. Damage to the Dunn car was estimated at $20,000. Investigating trooper Saldivar charged Donald Dunn with Operating While Intoxicated and Failure to Maintain Control.
