No school Friday in Webster City.

 Students in the Webster City Community Schools will be dismissed two hours early on Thursday due to Parent Teacher Conferences at the Middle School. Middle School Principal Becky Hacker Kluver said the conferences will be from 2:00 until 7:30 p.m. All parents are invited into the school to talk with teachers about the progress of the child in the classroom. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents. There will also be a Scholastic Book Fair in the media center. The Technology Showcase will also be taking place in the two discovery centers. Students can share some of their projects that they have been working on this year. As for the teaching staff of Pleasant View and Sunset Heights Elementary and Webster City High School,they will be involved in Professional Development activities. They will be working on Common Core alignment. There will be no school in Webster City this Friday due to Professional Development. Classes will resume again on Monday,January 28.
