NEH Community meeting on athletics set for March 4

 Residents of the Northeast Hamilton School District are invited to a special meeting on Monday,March 4 at 6:30 at the school cafeteria in Blairsburg. In recent weeks the Northeast Hamilton board and administration have been having discussions about sports participationg numbers for Northeast Hamilton's upcoming sports seasons. Superintendent Pat Hocking said this is not being done in an attempt to stop offering sports at Northeast Hamilton but to ensure that the numbers are there to provide quality programs.The discussions have primarily focused on the actual participant numbers of each sport so that there can be full seasons of sports. The meeting March 4 is to share information on potential sports numbers and to receive input from the community on how to proceed to best serve students. This is an open forum meeting for the community to provide feedback. It will be limited to 90 minutes and no action will be taken.
