Madrid man injured in snowmobile accident in Story County.

 A 51 year old Madrid man was injured Thursday afternoon when the snowmobile he was operating tipped over near Slater. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources say Michael Hassebrock was operating his snowmobile on a trail when he made a 90-degree turn into a ditch and the snowmobile flipped at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday. He suffered an injury to his chest and was transported by ambulance to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
