Hamilton County S.E.E.D. awarded tourism grant

Hamilton County S.E.E.D. has received an $850 grant from the Central Iowa Tourism Region Promotion Grant Program. The grant will be used toward printing the Hamilton County Visitor Guide. Central Iowa Tourism Region Executive Director Ann Vogelbacher said the promotion grant is a competitive grant and is pleased to award the Hamilton County S.E.E.D. funding for their project. The grants require a cash match and help leverage local funds for tourism promotional projects. The Central Iowa Tourism Region is a non-profit organization that works closely with counties, communities, attractions, events and tourism businesses on tourism development and marketing initiatives. The central region encompasses a 35 county area between the Minnesota and Missouri borders.
