Hamilton County Relay for Life is set for Friday night.

 The annual Relay for Life is set for this Friday night at the South Hamilton High School Track in Jewell. The evening  begins with the registration for the relay teams and survivors at 5:00 p.m. The opening ceremonies will start at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Survivor's Lap at 6:15. The caregiver's lap will be held at 6:30 and the Parade of Teams set for 6:45 p.m. There will special laps throughout the evening including the Hawaiian Lap at 7:00 p.m.as participants will "Say Good-bye to Cancer". The Reverse Lap will be held at 8:00 p.m., Hat Lap at 9:00 p.m. Fight Back Ceremony and Lap at 9:30 and Good Night Cancer lap at 10:30 p.m. Other activities include the Pie and Miscellaneous Auction at 7:00 p.m.,Yard Games at 7:30, Mini Games at 8:15 and the Frozen T-Shirt Contest set for 8:45 p.m.  The Luminaria Ceremony is set for 10:00 p.m. and the closing ceremonies will be at 10:45 with fireworks donated by the Williams Lions Club. Food will be served throughout the evening with beef burgers,pork burgers and turkey legs, ice cream stand, cookies and bars, pop and bottled water.
