Hamilton County City Council candidates announced.

 The list of candidates for Hamilton County's November 5th municipal election have been announced. There will be contested races in four of the nine communities this year.

In Jewell, four people are competing for the three city council seats. The candidates are Chris Gunderson, Kenneth Outzen, Leo Reiter and Rick Young. Mickey Walker is running unopposed as an incumbent candidate for mayor of Jewell.

There are four people vying for the three council seats in Randall. The candidates for Randall city council are Michelle Culver, Steven James Moore, Scott E. Stephens and Gina Wheeler. Gregg Wright is running unopposed as an incumbent candidate for mayor in Randall.

In Stratford three names appear on the ballot for mayor. The candidates for mayor are Douglas Kinsey,Kirk D. Richardson and Brian Wilde. There will be five names appearing on the ballot for city council with the candidates including James E. Bricker, Chase Haman, Larry Runyan and Mark Scott.There will be three seats up for election on the Stratford city council.

Webster City will have seven people competing for the three council seats in November. They are Linda Conaway, Mark Gillette, John Craig Hawkins, Heather Kierzek, Matt McKinney, Jim Talbot and Logan Welch. The candidates for the Fuller Hall Board of Trustee are Mary Fortune and Ann Kness. Crystal Gordon is running for the Kendall Young Library board seat being vacated by Tom McLaughlin who will be stepping down at the end of this year. Mark Dohms and Tami Hejlik are running for the two seats on the Kendall Young Library board with their terms to begin Janaury 1,2015.Hejlik will take over the seat being vacated by Michael Hames who decided not to seek re-election.

The other races are all uncontested:

In Blairsburg, Troy Hassebrock is running again for mayor of the community. The two city council candidates are Jill Babington and Rodney E. Harris. Babington is taking over the seat of Joe Bosch at the end of this year.

Gregory Campbell is running for mayor of Ellsworth. The two Ellsworth city council candidates  are Kris Groth and Marty Jensen.

In Kamrar, incumbents Howard Moon, Scott Neiman and Greg Philbrook will have their names on the ballot for the three council seats.

Harold Hove is seeking another term as mayor of Stanhope.Hove faces no opposition in the November election. Gary Baker,Jr. and Trent Flockhart are running again for their seats on the Stanhope city council.

In Williams,Jessica Schutt is running for mayor again while Dennis Frayne, Richard Kohl and Margaret Ronnfeldt are running for the city council seats this year.
