At a special meeting Tuesday morning, the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution for $10,000,000 in General Obligation County Purpose and Refunding Bonds. The bonds will be used in part for the remodeling project at the former U.A.W. Hall on James Street in Webster City to house Hamilton County Public Health, plans for constructing more camper cabins at the three county parks and for the refinancing of bond notes for the Red Bull Division Drive and courthouse parking lot. The refinancing would also provide a savings of about $1 million over time for the Van Diest Medical Center project. The Supervisors next Tuesday are expected to approve the loan agreement for the bonds and projects.
