Hamilton County 4-H'er-Ama ceremony held Sunday in Kamrar.

Sunday afternoon was a time to celebrate the accomplishments of the Hamilton County 4-H program during the 4-h'erAma program at the Community Church of Kamrar. The new members of the 2012-13 County Council will be Gavin Dinsdale and Kayla Miller from the Boone Boosters, Brock Miller of the Cass Red Cardinals, Rachel Huegerich and Melinda Johnston of the Clear Lake Sailors, Sarah Godfredsen from the Freedom Flickers, Raquel Holt, Selena Schmitz, Matthew Schroeder, Trevor Grubb,and Amy Isvik of the Lyon Kings and Kyle Leksell from the W.H.H. club.

The Hamilton County 4-H Foundation announced the winners of the Chicago Award Trip Sunday. The winners are Megan Hughes, Stephen Chamness, Morgan Shannon, Mara Borer, Tanner Hild and Kaleigh Greufe. They will be leaving Webster City on November 22 enjoying their visit to the Willis Tower, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, Chicago Theater, Museum of Science and Industry and more. They will return to Iowa on Sunday morning, November 25. 

The Outstanding Intermediate Award Winners are Katie Austin, Jessica Carlson, Raquel Holt,John Owens, MaKayla Tapper, Cayson Carlson, Ashley Dilley, Dustin Nicholson and Isaac Patterson. The winners will be attending the Iowa State University women's basketball game on Saturday,January 19,2013 in Ames.

The winners of the trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha next April will be McKenna Mitchell, Grace Hoffman, Madison Klocke, Anna Ervin, McKayla Cavan, Alexandria Schwerin, Maren Borer, Katie Greendfield, Shea Hassebrock, Gabbi Struchen and Hannah Miller.

The Outstanding Junior Award winners include the following students. Grace Hoffman of the Boone Boosters. Ashlyn Hay, and Teagan Gourley of the Cass Red Cardinals. Madison Klocke, Gabbi Struchen, Anna Ervin and Shea Hassebrock of the Clear Lake Sailors. Clara Klein of the Freedom Flickers, Sean Godfredsen of the Freedom Warriors, Sheldon Tapper of the Kamrar Komets. Lexie Schwerin and Marla Grubb of the Lyon Kings. Harlie Stienlict of the Stratford Spirit and Levi Greufe of the W.H.H. club.

The major award winners include the Acheivement Award presented to Molly Greeenfield, Brittany Nicholson, Jan Ryherd and Megan Hughes. The Agricultural Award winners were Brittany Nicholson and Coyce Carlson. Citizenship Award winners were Molly Greenfield, Coyce Carlson, Brittany Nicholson and Jan Ryherd. The Leadership Award winners were Erin Anderson, Morgan Shannon, Molly Greenfield and Coyce Carlson. Merit Award winners include Erin Anderson, Sarah Elm, Molly Greenfield and Bridget Moriarty. The Ak-Sar-Ben Leadership award winners were Stephen Chamness and Tanner Hilld. The Danforth Leadership Award winner for this year was Brittany Nicholson.
