"Get Hire-Ability" coming to Webster City on December 4.

Hamilton County S.E.E.D., Webster City Economic Development,IowaWorks, Iowa Central Community College and ISU Extension and Outreach will sponsor a program on helping individuals get employed. "Get Hire-Ability" will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane on Tuesday,December 4. The program is an afternoon of opportunities to improve one's success of gaining employment. The event is free and open to anyone who is unemployed, underemployed or just looking to gain an edge in getting noticed by employers. Registration is not require but bringing your resume is recommended.This program will feature local employers, human resource directors, and resource providers working with individuals on a one-on-one basis with resume refinement, mock interviews and current employment opportunities. There will also be breakout sessions that will address making the most of interviews, temp agencies and networking opportunities.  Hours for "Get Hire-Ability" will be from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m.For more information you may call Sue Schmitz at the Hamilton County ISU Extension and Outreach office at 515-832-9597.
