Fort Dodge Police investigate a home invasion incident.

 Police in Fort Dodge late Sunday night responded to 208 Fourth Avenue North to investigate a report of a home invasion. Information developed during the investigation indicated that three black male subjects forced entry into the residence, demanded money and property. Three individuals were present during the incident. 25 year old Derek Meadows was treated at the scene for a laceration to his head. 22 year old Trevor Cook received minor injuries but was not treated. The third person, 23 year old Bryan Stuhrenberg was not injured during the incident. A pitbull dog owned by one of the residents was shot by a suspect and fled the residence. The residents are still attempting to locate the animal. The suspects fled with a few of the victims' personal items. The description of the suspects are limited at this time to three black males all wearing flat bill hats. The weapons used by the suspects included at least one handgun and possibly two knives. Detectives and Patrol Division personnel continue to follow up on information in this case. Anyone with information should contact the Fort Dodge Police Department at 515-573-1426.
