Fort Dodge man arrested in a burglary incident.

 A 20 year old Fort Dodge man was arrested Thursday after a burglary last Sunday at Romantix at 15 North Fifth Street. Fort Dodge Police apprehended Blake Aaron Peterson. Peterson has been charged with First Degree Criminal Mischief, Third Degree Burglary,and Fourth Degree Theft. Last Sunday police responded to a burglary in progress at Romantix. When officers arrived they found the front entrance to the business had been severly damaged. A witness told officers that a truck  had driven through the front entrance of the business. A description of the vehicle was given out to officers but it was not located at the time. An employee of Romantix identified items that were missing from inside the store, indicating that a suspect had entered and taken store property. A search warrant was executed Thursday by police leading to the arrest of Peterson. Through a further investigation, Peterson was linked to another burglary at Romantix last October 19th.  Peterson was being held in the Webster County Jail pending an appearance before a magistrate.
