Posted: Mar 21 2014 by ppowers

An estimated $6,155 was raised during the month long Indiegogo fund raising campaign to help reopen the Webster Theater. The online campaign drew 79 people to help support the effort. As of this week the Help Entertain and Restore Organization or HERO organization is $1,903 away from their second phase of the goal. The money will be used for purchasing digital equipment and for improvements to the theater which closed one year ago. 125 out of the 300 seats to have names engraved from contributors have been purchased. Monetary donations for the Webster Theater project can be dropped off at the Webster City Chamber of Commerce office or by going online to www.webstertheater.org.
