Clarion City Council to meet on Monday.

 Another meeting of the Clarion City Council is set for 5:00 Monday afternoon in the Clarion council chambers. There will be a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the Right Turn Lane Improvements at the intersections of Highway 3 and 8th Street N.W. and taking bids for such construction. The council will award a contract for the construction of the Right Turn Lane Improvement project. A rebate request from Clarion Packaging will be considered. A resolution accepting the grant agreement for Federal Funds from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) in an amount of $479,070 for the construction of a new hangar will be discussed.  In other matters, the council will accept the resignation of Pat Kirstein from the Clarion Library Board with Belva German to be appointed as Kirstein's replacement on the board. The council will consider a contract for transit service between the city of Clarion and Wright County plus other matters.
