State Senator Jerry Behn of Boone announced Wednesday he decided not to seek re-election to be the Iowa Senate Republican Leader. Behn said the new caucus leadership under Bill Dix has his full support. Behn said he looks forward to spending more time with his family and farming business and serving the citizens of Boone,Greene, Hamilton, Story and Webster Counties in the new senate district beginning this January.
