A slight increase in Hamilton County's unemployment rate for June.

 Hamilton County saw a slight increase in its unemployment rate for the month of June. The Iowa Workforce Development office announced Tuesday that the rate for last month was at 5.7 percent. The May unemployment rate was at 5.2 percent. There were 6,410 people employed in Hamilton County during June while 390 were without work.Iowa's unemployment rate for June remained unchanged from May at 4.6 percent. The unemployment rates for surrounding counties included Boone County at 4.1 percent, Franklin County at 4.2 percent, Hardin County at 5.0 percent, Story County at 4.2 percent, Webster County at 6.2 percent and Wright County at 4.6 percent.
