Mary Harris, General Manager

With over 18 years of sales and marketing experience and a native to Webster City, General Manager Mary Harris, is leading the KQWC team into the future of broadcast radio. Rhonda Martin, Business Manager

Rhonda Martin may not be a Webster City native, but she may as well be! From living in Webster City for over 16 years, and working in the public, she has become a recognizable face and voice at KQWC.  Rhonda graduated from Manning High School in Manning, Iowa. She furthered her education with two degrees from ICCC in Fort Dodge. She has devoted the past ten years to KQWC, utilizing her Accounting degrees. Most people recognize her as the face behind the Auction Block or the voice behind the phone. In June of 2009, Rhonda was promoted to Business Manager, where she is responsible for all the business transactions for all 3 stations at KQWC. Call out to the Q at anytime to hear her friendly voice, and she’ll be more than happy to help you however she can!

Chris Lockwood, Program Director

Chris “Woody” Lockwood is the host of KQWC’s Morning Flight and Trading Post programs every Monday through Friday and also serves as KQWC’s Program Director. A graduate of the Iowa Central Community College School of Broadcasting, Woody has served KQWC for the past 8 years in all areas of our radio station. From producing commercials, to live remotes, to being an uplifting and entertaining “on-air” personality, his goal every morning is to put a smile on every face that tunes into our station. Be sure to tune in every Monday through Friday for great tunes, trivia, laughs and fun on KQWC with The Morning Flight as you never know what may happen.


Pat Powers, News Director

For over 35 years, Pat Powers has been KQWC'S  News Director. He is the host of the Morning News and Information Hour and the Noon Report each Monday through Friday, plus the hourly news updates 6,7 and at 8 each weekday morning. He has interviewed numerous political candidates. In addition to his radio duties, Powers has been actively involved in the Webster City and Hamilton County areas, while giving back to others. 

In August, 2013, Powers received the Iowa Character Award for being a Character Champion! He was one of 12 people and organizations to be honored by Character Counts in Iowa.
