Meet Jasper!

Jasper is  young pit bull terrier.  He’s a large dog with golden brown and white fur.  Jasper is up-to-date on his shots and is neutered.  He is a very handsome dog!  Jasper has lots of energy and absolutely loves going on walks!  He’s a very smart dog and needs an owner who is willing to work with him (because he is certainly trainable).  If you have the time and are interested in training Jasper – he will be an even more amazing dog!  Just a heads up…he does need to be in a home without cats!!  Jasper is a good looking fella just waiting for his forever home.  If you have room in your home, your heart, and your schedule, please consider adopting Jasper.  If you have questions or are interested in adopting Jasper, please call Don at 515-293-2026.  

Meet Rowdy!

Rowdy is a “Labrabull” (a pit bull terrier & a Labrador retriever mix).  He has short, chocolate brown hair.  Rowdy is a large male dog that has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots.  He is a very smart dog, as well as a social dog!  Not only does Rowdy love to spend time with him human friends, he is also good around other dogs and cats as well.  He’s intelligent and is anxious to learn new things in hopes of pleasing his new owners!  He loves attention and is really an all-around good dog!  Rowdy would love to find his forever home and family.  Do you have a place in your heart for this handsome guy?

Meet Muskie!  ADOPTED!!  🙂

MUSKY is a young terrier-mix male dog.  He is the perfect size…about knee high.  Musky has short hair that’s mostly brown- mixed in with some black and some cream coloring.  He is up to date on his shots and is neutered.  Musky is a very friendly, good-natured dog.  He enjoys going on walks and is leash trained.  He’s good around cats, but may go over to check out a cat just because he’s curious!  Musky is a very calm dog and would make an excellent companion.  He enjoys sitting around and relaxing.  In fact- Musky is such a nice dog that we are surprised he hasn’t been adopted yet!  If you would like to meet Musky contact Marcia with the Wright County Humane Society at 515-571-3129. 

Meet Goose!

Goose is a large adult male of bull terrier & shepherd mix.  He is a light reddish-brown color with cream markings.  He is neutered and up-to-date on shots.  Goose loves to go on walks, but hold on tight because he is a strong dog!  he loves attention and is excited to interact with people.  Goose is a quick learner and very friendly.  He really would love to have a job!  In fact, watching over a farm would be an excellent job for Goose!  Goose would love a forever home.  If you think he might be the dog for you, call Don at 515-293-2026.

Meet Peppy!  ADOPTED!!  🙂

Peppy is a small male dog of a Chihuahua mix.  He is neutered and up-to-date on his shots.  Peppy is a blond, short-haired dog who enjoys the outdoors!  He loves to go on walks and often times is not on a leash since he tends to stick close by anyone walking with him.  Because of his tendency to stay nearby, he is often loose on our acreage greeting folks who come for a visit.  Peppy would prefer a home with older family members rather than young kids.  He is fine with cats and is an all around good dog!  He is such a sweet, lovable guy!  Peppy loves his treats and will be your best buddy if you share a treat with him.  🙂  This calm fella is looking for his forever home and hopes that he will find one soon.  If you are interested in adopting Peppy, please call Don at 515-293-2026.

Meet Black Jack!

Black Jack is a male pit bull terrier.  He it up-to-date on his shots and is neutered.  He is a larger dog and has short black hair.  Black Jack is a docile dog and loves to go on walks.  He even knows a few commands (e.g. “Sit”).  Because of his calm demeanor and great attitude, he is a favorite with the volunteers who work at the Humane Society!  Black Jack is wonderful with adults and older children.  He has not been around toddlers or young children.  He has been around other dogs – but would love the opportunity to be a solo dog and reap in all the love and attention he could possibly get!  It’s Black Jack’s time to shine and get his forever home all to himself!  Do you have room in your heart for this lovable fella?  If you are interested in adopting Black Jack, please call Don at 515-293-2026.  

Meet Hawkeye!  ADOPTED!!  🙂

Hawkeye is a black and white “Boxador” (Labrador/Boxer mix).  He is a young male that is up-to-date on his shots and he is neutered.  Hawkeye LOVE people!  His tail is always wagging because he’s just such a happy dog!  Hawkeye enjoys going on walks and is playful with other dogs.  He is a fun-loving dog with plenty of energy.  We’re sure there is a perfect family for him and can’t wait to find Hawkeye his forever home where he can play, run and interact with his humans!  If you are interested in Hawkeye or want to meet the other animals at the Wright County Humane Society, please call Don at 515-293-2026.

Meet Jack!  

Jack is a young yellow Labrador retriever.  His medium length fur is tan and blonde in color.  Jack is up-to-date on his shots and is neutered.  He is a dog with a good attitude who is always trying to please the people around him.  Jack is a younger dog and is eager to learn.  (He already knows the command “Sit”!)  He enjoys going on walks and is good around cats.  Jack socializes well with other dogs.  He would be a good dog for all ages – adults and children.  He is anxious to find his forever home and his new loving family.  If you are interested in adopting Jack or finding out more about him, please call Don at 515-293-2026.
