Snow emergency issued for Webster City on Saturday.

A Snow Emergency has been declared for Saturday January 15, 2022
Due to the snow storm forecasted for Friday and Saturday, the City of Webster City is being proactive and providing advanced notice that a Snow Emergency has been declared for Saturday January 15, 2022 starting at 6:00 am.
The Police Department wants to remind everyone that the City Ordinance requires vehicles to be removed from the roadways by 6:00 am. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street until both sides of the street have been plowed or the emergency has been removed. Parking citations will be written starting at 8:00am. In addition to a citation, vehicles parked on the street during a declared emergency are subject to tow if they pose a safety issue for maintenance crews and/or the public.
When a Snow Emergency has been declared, the notification is posted on the City Facebook page, the Police Department Facebook page, local cable channel 12, KQWC radio and the Daily Freeman Journal. If you do not have access to any of these forms of media, you can always call City Hall at (515) 832-9151, or the Police Department at (515) 832-9166 to inquire if an emergency has been declared.
