Annual reorganization meeting for the Hamilton County Supervisors set for Monday,January 3.

The annual reorganizational meeting for the Hamilton County Supervisors will be Monday morning,January 3 at 9:00 in the downstairs conference room of the county courthouse. The meeting will include the election of a chairman and chairman pro tem for 2022. There will be the authorization to the county auditor to make all budgeted transfers of county funds, authorize the county assessor to allow homestead exemptions. There will also be numerous appointments to boards and commissions for the new year. In other matters, the Hamilton County supervisors will approve a resolution for the road closings during 2022 to permit construction projects. The depositories will be named and other businesses in which county funds may be invested at Monday’s meeting. An agreement to combine township and city precincts with the city of Webster City will be considered. A resolution to adopt the county reprecincting plan will be reviewed by the board for approval. The policy for EMS as an a essential service will be approved. The hours and holidays for the courthouse will be set along with the setting of regular meeting days for the board of supervisors plus other matters.
