Webster City city council to meet Monday,December 6 at 6:00 p.m.

When the Webster City city council meets this Monday evening, there will be the first reading to repeal  an ordinance  for off road utility vehicles within Webster City’s corporate limits.  There will also a resolution adopting the  updated employee handbook for the city. The date of December 20,2021 at 6:05 p.m. will be set for a public hearing for the new precinct boundaries in Webster City. The boundaries will be in place after the census figures for 2020 were released earlier this year.

Other items up for discussion will include a request from the engineering tech/project coordinator  to seek bids for the 2021 pool side repair and painting project,seek bids for the concrete crushing for next spring and to enter into an agreement with Robb’s Tree and Stump Service of Story City for next year’s tree trimming and removal services project. The council will consider a resolution accepting and approving the minor subdivision plat of J Miller addition.

There will be the oath of office administered by the city clerk to re-elected council members John  Hawkins, Matt McKinney and Logan Welch for their four year terms beginning on January 1,2022.

The council will meet in a closed session at the conclusion of Monday’s session to discuss matters in litigation or where litigation is imminent.

Meeting time is set for 6:00 p.,m at city hall. The meeting will be streamed through the Webster City Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system.
