Webster City city council to be updated on pinhole water leak problem on Monday evening.

The latest on the pinhole water leak investigation will be presented at this Monday evening’s meeting of the Webster City city council. For the last few weeks. there have been numerous reports of pinhole leaks at homes and businesses in the community causing damage. The council will discuss a change to the ORV (Off Road Vehicles)/Golf Cart ordinance to allow the use of ORVs on Superior Street.
Other council matters include a public hearing on a proposal to enter into a Sewer Rental Loan and Disbursement agreement. The council will consider a resolution authorizing the city clerk and mayor to sign and execute an engagement letter with Dorsey and Whitney.
The council will set Monday,December 20 at 6:05 p.m.for a public hearing for the proposed plans,specifications and form of contract and estimate of cost for the construction for the basement and floor reconstruction project at city hall.
There will be further discussion on stop requirements on certain streets in Webster City plus other matters.
This Monday’s city council meeting will be streamed on the Webster City Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system. There will be limited attendance at the council meeting. Meeting time is set for 6:00 p.m.
