Webster City opens regional play with Waterloo East on Tuesday

The Webster City Lynx begin their quest for a trip to the Alliant Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids as they open regional play with the Trojans of Waterloo East. The Trojans enter with an 8-19 record as members of the Mississippi Valley Conference.

Waterloo East has been lead by the stellar play of junior Nyla Norman, who leads the Trojans in kills with 95, and assists with 328. Juniors Natalie See and Faith Benhoff have collected 92 kills and 82 kills respectively. Natalie See and and Tionn Wise have combined for 128 blocks on the season, while junior Karsyn Miller leads the team in digs with 342.

Webster City enters Tuesday fresh off securing a 2nd place finish in the North Central Conference. Sierra Rattenborg leads the Lynx in kills with 284, while Reese Casey and Livia Kasch have both surpassed the 100 kill mark on the season. Joslin Gourley ranks in the top 10 in Class 4A in assists with 628, while Alayna Finucan leads Class 4A in digs with 454.

First serve is set for 7 PM at Webster City High School, 95.7 KQWC will carry live coverage of the match.
